Haringey Secures SHDF Grant; Appoints Installer for PAS 2035 Retrofit Programme

Energy Efficiency Standard: Retrofit Funding Secured

Haringey Council confirmed that it had secured funding, partially through the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2.2, to proceed with its major retrofit programme. The council approved the appointment of a PAS 2035-certified installer/contractor (via the London Construction Programme DPS) to commence works on up to 289 council-owned street properties. This initiative prioritises homes with an EPC rating of D or below, strictly adhering to the PAS 2035 standard to ensure a "Fabric First" approach that targets long-term carbon reduction and lower running costs for tenants.
